P Family

This family & I had to reschedule the photoshoot 3 times before we actually got them done.  Why so many times?  Because of the RAIN! Rain in the PHX valley???!!  You'd think  I was lying but we had some good rain storms this summer and this particular afternoon we were thinking we were going to get stuck amidst a rainy mess. Fortunately, we got what we needed and didn't get a drop of water on us in the process.  What a cute family!

Quick, mini session with the H's

We had 15 minutes to get a few keepers after taking multiple extended family photos.  The time wasn't a lot, but considering that everyone at that point was kinda of 'done' with pictures, we got what we needed!

A Mom & ALL her Men

We took these pictures at 3 in the afternoon, on a summer day in AZ, so I snapped fast & we tried to get out of the heat before we melted/got sweaty/red cheeked/got dehydrated.  These boys were just recovering from colds, but despite everything that was against the patience of these boys, they did very well. These spirited boys, this beautiful mom, & fun dad rocked it!

Liza

Little Liza,  may have started  my baby hunger pains... :)

This shoot was fun because we had a few "props" to work into the photos.  Like this dresser for instance, this dresser belonged to Liza's great grandmother who passed it down to her daughter, who passed it down to her daugther (Liza's mom), who then passed it down to this precious girl.  Once I heard it was an heirloom I had to get his newborn photographed with it.
(The white blanket hanging out of the drawer was hand made by her grandmother.)

This read chair was also of sentimental value.  Her grandfather (on the other side) made one for every grandchild to remind them that their grandpa wants to see every single one of them after this life.  "No Empty Chairs" is referring to the importance of living a worthy life to receive eternal salvation with those family members we are sealed to.  If you have no idea what I am talking about check out this page: The Plan of Salvation

Proud, beautiful momma.

Grandma was in town!
...The Grandma who made the white blanket for her.

And this blanket belongs to Liza's mom.

.....Liza is incredibly loved and a very lucky girl!
